It is Wednesday and I had two meetings today, with our groups for the Talbot Rice gallery show and for the Embassy Gallery show. Both of those projects are progressing but are still distant enough that we cannot work out the details.
As far as my to-do list, this is where I stand at the end of the day:
Create mount points in masks so they can sit on stands.Finish masks – matte varnish or leave as is?
Well, 2 of the three are finished, the third needs one horn attached and a coat of varnish.- Clear out my studio so I can set up for assessment.
– remove tables
– take current photos off walls
– move elephant mask
– clean shelf and display molds/prototype masks or remove them
– remove/hide supplies - Hang new photos on walls
- Secure stands and display masks
- Create folder of documentation: references, options, choices, etc.
So, Thursday:
- Attach horn and varnish final mask
- Remove tables
- Remove/hide supplies
- Hang photos
- Secure stands and display masks
- Print documentation photos and collect into folder
So, I expect to finish 1-4 tomorrow along with printing the photos. The rest should be done on Friday.
